Elia Selects Copperleaf for Portfolio Management
Vancouver, BC, August 7, 2020—Copperleaf® announces the selection of its decision analytics solution by Elia, Belgium’s high-voltage transmission system operator, for project, program, and portfolio management. Elia develops, builds and maintains over 8,700 km of electrical transmission lines and underground cables throughout Belgium, investing heavily in the integration of renewable energy, the development of an offshore high-voltage grid, and the construction of interconnectors to facilitate the integration of the European energy market.
“As part of the Elia implementation, Copperleaf will be developing a new product feature to support even more complex inter-project dependencies within our solution,” said James Burberry, Copperleaf Customer Experience Director, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). “This is an exciting new capability that will benefit all of our clients.”
“Elia is Copperleaf’s first client in Belgium, and the fourth electricity transmission company in Europe to join the Copperleaf Community,” added Stefan Sadnicki, Managing Director of Copperleaf for EMEA. “Our solution will provide increased visibility and transparency in Elia’s portfolio decision-making and add significant value to their investment planning capabilities. We are committed to enabling Elia’s long-term success and look forward to supporting them on their asset management journey.”
