Copperleaf’s EMEA Team Meets Up In Person—Finally!
Copperleaf’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) team got together this spring in Berlin for our first in-person meeting of 2022. Over the course of two days, we took the time to network, share experiences, and have fun!
Team EMEA spans the United Kingdom, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Denmark, and the United Arab Emirates. For several team members, this was the first time meeting each other in person, which made the event so much fun and even more valuable. When I joined Copperleaf in 2019, we had 19 people on the team. We’ve grown a lot since then, and today we have over 50!
As remote employees, we’re used to collaborating virtually and having a lot of flexibility, but I think it’s also important for us to meet up in person to get to know the people behind the screen. That’s why we worked hard to make this event special.
On the first night, we enjoyed a lovely cocktail hour followed by local cuisine. The next day, we shared highlights and success stories from the past quarter, and attended breakout sessions which gave us the opportunity to deep dive into specific topics. On our last night together, we took a sightseeing river cruise past some of Berlin’s key landmarks, including the Reichstag and the beautiful Berlin Cathedral. Our Managing Director, Stefan Sadnicki, said:

Our next in-person team meeting will take place in sunny Malaga, Spain, and we can’t wait!
