As Global Vice President of Client Experience (CX), Russell is responsible for providing exceptional client experience across Copperleaf’s global business. He works closely with our Regional Managing Directors and Regional CX Leads to ensure Copperleaf continuously enhances value delivered, shares best practices globally, and develops high impact teams.
Russell joined Copperleaf in 2019 as the first Solutions Consultant in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) and his efforts were critical to the success of the region’s growth. He was promoted to the Director of CX position in 2021 and became an integral member of the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) leadership team. Since the beginning of 2023, Russell has led the Global CX Council and contributed to strategic business issues through his participation in Copperleaf’s Functional Leadership Team.
Prior to joining Copperleaf, Russell held various roles in enterprise software across the United Kingdom and Australia. Russell started his career as a software engineer before moving in to consulting and leadership roles with organizations such as Marubeni Corporation, the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and Itron Inc.
Russell holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering, from the University of Wollongong, Australia. In his spare time, Russell takes every opportunity to spend time with his family which includes anything from family barbeques, outdoor activities, or volunteering at the local Surf Life Saving Club.
