Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your role at Copperleaf? What is the focus of your team?

“I work with the Value Framework Development Team as a Senior Software Developer based in the Asia Pacific and Japan region. The key focus for our team is to work closely with the Client Experience and Technical Sales teams to develop and enhance our clients’ Value Frameworks.”

Can you tell us about your professional background and what led you to Copperleaf?

“I have been in the IT industry for over 15 years and have worked in various technical and leadership roles such as software development, solution architecture, and DevOps to name a few, and have worked in industries like commercial real estate, asset management, digital solutions, network build and design, operations and maintenance, and engineering services. My most recent role in the asset management domain led me to learn about Copperleaf and its products and apply for the role.”

What have you found to be the most unique aspect of working at Copperleaf?

“In two words, it’s ‘The Team’. Everyone I’ve worked with—from leadership and product to shared services—are brilliant both professionally and personally. They’re always willing to go above and beyond, not only to meet client requirements, but also to look out for each other and support anyone, whether it is sharing knowledge and best practices or solving complex problems. It’s an amazing place to be.”

“A large part of my background and experience is related to the technical aspects of solution architecture and delivery in various business domains, which has been very valuable at Copperleaf. In addition, I’ve delved deeper into areas of asset management like decision support systems, the ISO 55000 standards, understanding risk, and valuation modelling techniques to name a few. It is all very interesting yet very challenging, and keeps you on your toes.”

What are some projects you’ve been working on?

“These days, I’m working on a few Value Framework development initiatives where I am involved in architecting and developing value models for our clients Essential Energy, Sydney Water, and Energy Queensland.
