Copperleaf Announces Submission of UNGC COP and Continued Commitment to ESG
Vancouver, BC, December 12, 2023—Copperleaf® Technologies Inc. (TSX: CPLF) (“Copperleaf” or the “Company”), a leading provider of enterprise decision analytics software solutions, is proud to announce the submission of its United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Communication on Progress this month, following the release of its 2022 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report earlier this year.
As a voluntary signatory of the UNGC, Copperleaf is dedicated to conducting business responsibly and aligning its strategies and operations with the UNGC’s Ten Principles and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The company is committed to upholding these principles, which encompass Human Rights, Labor Rights, Environment, and Anti-Corruption.
Copperleaf has implemented specific policies, including an anti- slavery policy, an anti-bribery policy, an equal opportunity policy, and several others that support these principles. Additionally, it has updated its code of business conduct and ethics, and overhauled its sustainability policy to reflect its commitment to the UNGC principles.
“We believe that integrating the UNGC principles into our operations and value chain strengthens our business and contributes to a sustainable global economy,” said Paul Sakrzewski, CEO of Copperleaf. “We are excited to share our ESG journey and continue to improve our operations and best practices. Together, we aim to achieve greater sustainability and build a better world.”
