Vancouver, BC, January 30, 2024—Copperleaf® Technologies Inc. (TSX: CPLF) (“Copperleaf” or the “Company”) announces that Global Vice President of Employee Experience, Linda Lupini, has been awarded the 2024 Influential Women in Business Award by Business in Vancouver (BIV). Founded in 2000, this awards program recognizes the pioneering work and contributions of female business leaders in British Columbia.
Linda is renowned in her industry for inspiring change and building teams with a strong sense of accountability and trust. She has been recognized as a champion of progressive HR policies, DE&I in the workplace, and human rights, and her initiatives have delivered lasting results across private and public sector organizations. Under Linda’s guidance, Copperleaf has been recognized as a winner of Canada’s Most Admired™ Corporate Cultures by Waterstone Human Capital, and one of BC’s Top Employers by Mediacorp.
“Linda has been instrumental in Copperleaf’s success, and I can think of no one more deserving of this award,” said Paul Sakrzewski, Copperleaf CEO. “She is a role model for future leaders who are passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, and creating positive change. Linda continuously strives to provide our employees with rewarding opportunities and a great workplace environment, and her leadership is recognized at all levels of the business.”
“I am honoured to be chosen as one of this year’s Influential Women in Business Award winners alongside such exceptional and inspirational women,” said Linda Lupini. “You can only succeed with a strong team, and I’ve been lucky to have teams that have always gone above and beyond in every way.”
“Our 2024 award recipients have broken barriers for women in business and have achieved significant success in their careers, all while making meaningful contributions to their industries and communities,” said BIV editor-in-chief Hayley Woodin Hastings. “They advance and inspire inclusion—the theme of this year’s International Women’s Day—and business in British Columbia is better as a result of their efforts.”
The winners of the Influential Women in Business Awards will be profiled editorially in Business in Vancouver on February 12, and honoured at the awards gala on International Women’s Day, on March 8, in Vancouver. You can view the full list of winners here.
